What is Energy Warriors?
The Energy Warriors program provides paid job training for folks interested in the growing green job sector—HVAC installers, insulation technicians, renewable energy installers, and reuse specialists, to name a few. Energy Warriors is open to anyone and is especially focused on supporting individuals facing barriers to employment. Training focuses on helping to develop job-readiness skills, understand the importance of green jobs, earn technical certifications, and make connections with employers hiring in our region.

Training Structure
Each Energy Warriors cohort runs for 12-weeks, Monday - Friday. Training incorporates presentations, group work, videos, projects, and guest speakers.
Weeks 1 - 10: Environmental literacy, job readiness, and personal development training.
Week 11: Boot Camp for Weatherization Installers - a week-long, hands-on training to learn basics of energy auditing and weatherizing.
Week 12: OSHA-10 certification and Building Science Principles certification.
Outcomes
Energy Warriors participants will graduate with:
Stipend payments (totaling $2,500)
