CCE Chemung
Cornell Cooperative Extension Chemung County is an essential partner of Energy Warriors. CCE Chemung hosts the Energy Warriors program in Elmira, supporting trainees in Chemung County. Through 2026 and 2027, CCE Chemung will train 36 individuals in the Energy Warriors program.

Roots of Success
Roots of Success is a federally registered U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship program that prepares youth and adults with barriers to employment for living wage jobs in the water, waste, transportation, energy, building, food, and open space sectors. The Energy Warriors program incorporates the Roots of Success as a key part of our classroom training.

City of Ithaca - Green New Deal
The City of Ithaca’s Green New Deal sets a number of strong climate goals for the community, including developing a robust climate workforce. Energy Warriors is a subcontractor with the City of Ithaca, receiving U.S. Department of Energy funds to certify 12 individuals as energy auditors through training and 1,000 hours of on-the-job training.

New Roots Charter School
New Roots Charter School hosts school-aged Energy Warriors classes, offering environmental literacy training to high school students. These courses are offered by Roots of Success certified instructors, employed by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County. -
NYSWDA
New York State Weatherization Directors Association provides technical training related to clean energy for Energy Warriors trainees. Trainings include the Bootcamp for Weatherization Providers, Building Analyst - Technician, and Building Analyst - Professional certifications.

TST BOCES
Tompkins - Seneca - Tioga BOCES (TST BOCES) provides adult education training to Energy Warriors. Between 2026 and 2028, 30 Energy Warriors trainees will complete TST BOCES 100 Hour Air Source Heat Pump training at no cost to trainees.

Tompkins Workforce NY
Tompkins Workforce New York offers career supports for youth and adults alike. All Energy Warriors trainees sign up with Tompkins Workforce NY to access additional wraparound services and career supports.

Finger Lakes ReUse
Finger Lakes ReUse is a valuable part of Ithaca’s climate efforts. In addition to offering successful workforce development training programs of their own, ReUse readily collaborates with Energy Warriors by offering behind-the-scenes facility tours to cohorts and hiring program participants.

Halco Home Solutions
In collaboration with the City of Ithaca and the U.S. Department of Energy, 12 Energy Warriors trainees will have the opportunity to complete 1,000 hours of paid on-the-job training with Halco. Trainees will have the opportunity to complete energy audits, insulate and air seal, and install HVAC units.
